Our guide, Sofia provided us with a warm welcome, then led us on a most interesting walking tour of Turin. She was very knowledgeable, sharing information about Turin's history, culture and architecture. This walk was a great introduction to Turin. We discovered streets and buildings that we hadn't come across previously, even though we had been already been wandering the streets of Turin for a week or so. Full description

Meet your guide in the city center to start your discovery of the history and culture of Turin. Begin by exploring the Piazza San Carlo, where you encounter the equestrian monument of Emmanuel Philibert and learn how it is considered the “drawing room” of the city. You then pass under a gallery to arrive at Piazza Carignano, where you can admire some of the most beautiful historical buildings, UNESCO-listed since 1997. From there, enter Piazza Castello, the real heart of Turin, to talk about the main monuments of the city. Discover sites such as Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama, and the San Lorenzo Church. Conclude your tour outside the Mole Antonelliana, the most famous building of the city.
