I highly recommend this private tour, it was a great experience. The Great Mosque of Kairouan is amazing and El Jem’s Roman amphitheatre and museum are very impressive. My driver, Samira, was friendly, fun and attentive, going above and beyond to make my day memorable. Another guest from my hotel booked the same tour separately with driver Wissam from the same company. We ended up visiting the sites together - a lovely bonus. Note: the tour was not guided and entrance tickets were not included contrary to what GYG advertised. However, Samira and Wissam did everything they could to resolve this, including arranging a guide and covering tickets where possible. I suggest confirming details with the local company before setting off as it seems the information was not communicated to them by GYG/the intermediary. Despite this, the professionalism and warmth of the drivers made the day unforgettable. The tour is a wonderful way to explore Tunisia's history. Thank you Samira and Wissam :)

We highly recommend booking this tour – it’s an experience not to be missed. Abdelkader Masmoudi, the owner of the company, was our driver, and our tour guide was Mohamed Ben Khalifa. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They planned our tour thoughtfully and gave us a wonderful introduction to their culture. Without this tour, we wouldn’t have been able to experience local life in such an authentic way. Every place they took us to and every recommendation they gave was absolutely spot on. My wife is vegan, and Abdel made sure she had suitable options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. Most importantly, they are genuinely honest and kind people. This was a truly memorable adventure – don’t miss it!

Amazing trip. We were collected at our Hotel in the morning and made our trip around the country, visiting all the destinations offered. Four people in a climatized car, with Taha as our guide, who has a huge knowledge of the country, the history and culture. In the evening we arrived in a small desert camp, experiencing the Sahara, its quietness, the sundown and overnighting in a nice tent. The next day was fully packed as well and in the evening we arrived again at the hotel, tired but happy. It takes a while to process all we saw and all the things we did. We were always able to adapt the schedule and adding or removing destinations we were not particularly interested in, which made everything more interesting. Well worth it.

Though smaller in comparison to many countries, Tunisia is a marvelous country with wonderful diversity. I don’t think we would have been able to truly appreciate its depth if it weren’t for the dynamic duo of Abdel and Ghazi. The knowledge and passion they have for their country helped us to find many surprising gems along our adventure. Their playful banter made for the most delightful tour experiences we could have asked for. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

My tour guide Chouayeb and driver Mekki were excellent, very professional and kind. The day was wonderful and I really enjoyed all the sights and history from my guide.
