Tunis: Medina, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Bardo Private Tour

Noureddine was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. His passion for Tunisian history and culture is shown in the way he conducts the tour and the way he delivered the experience. We were a family of two adults and two children and he tailored the experience according to our needs. We started of in the the main souk in the medina of Tunis and went on to the Bardo museum where we learnt about the collection of Roman mosaics as well as the history of the palace housing the collection. We then stopped for lunch at a local restaurant and then went on to Sidi Bou Said, where we saw a wonderful view over the Gulf of Tunis. From there, we went to the historical city of Carthage where we explored the Thermes of Antonides, learning about the history of this area. We then ended the day atop the Beyra hill, which gave us a panoramic view of the Gulf of Tunis as well as Carthage and Tunis. A wonderful excursion and valuable time spent in the company of a great tourist guide in Noureddine.

This tour is perfect for folks who want to experience some of the Tunisian culture without the hassle of big tours. It was RAINING when we did it (who knew it rained in Tunisia?!) so the guide tailored our itinerary to ensure the indoor parts were whilst it was raining and we ended the day at sidi bou said just as it was sunny and glorious again. Amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and Tunis. Noureddine, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. Tunis has the best Medina we have visited so far on our trip, there's a lovely thriving atmosphere and lots of lanes to explore. The Bardo Museum is incredible and we would have happily spent more time here as there were so many artefacts to explore. The Roman Baths were impressive and could happily have stayed here longer too.
