This was my favourite tour of my entire trip to Mexico! We ended up essentially on a private tour as we were the only ones who'd booked to do the horse riding experience, and our guide Sara was fabulous. The company does various other tours, many from the same location, which meant we could be picked up from Tulum easily. The tour itself surprised us pleasantly. Both my friend and I are experienced riders and as it was just us and were able to have bouts of trot and canter. Our horses were willing, friendly, and reliable, and seemed well taken care of. We rode to a private cenote, where our guide took lots of photos of us, and then had a tour of an expansive cave system. It was a western saddle (and an odd one at that) which meant we ended up riding stirrup-less, but that didn't bother us. The helmets are not riding helmets but general ones for all their risk activities, and one size - way too big for most people - so this could be improved safety-wise, but otherwise fine.

Full description

Riding on horseback is a great way to explore the picturesque Mayan jungle. Discover idyllic cenotes and connect with nature in Tulum National Park on this guided horseback adventure that includes lunch as well as transportation from Tulum or Playa Del Carmen.

To begin, receive instructions about the best riding techniques and get fitted for a helmet. Then, make your way to a dry cenote. Keep your eyes peeled to spot different types of wildlife in the area including birds and maybe monkeys too.

Then, head to another cenote and cool off as you take a refreshing swim. Along the way, admire all of the different trees and plants of the Mayan jungle. Enjoy a Mexican lunch, before you return to the starting point.

Guide was amazing, he encouraged and supported me throughout the tour in an awesome way. I was a bit scared of going into the stalagmite caves but with his support, it was on of the most unforgettable incredible things to experience. Horses were a bit moody because of the hot humid weather and very understandable. Food was delicious
