This was a great trip, especially for the price- I paid about $45 (USD) plus another $15 conservation fee at Tulum (it did say that wasn't included). We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel, went to Tulum, Coba, and a cenote, and had a good Mexican meal at the cenote. I took a star off because 1. there was no chocolate tasting as mentioned in the description of what's included and I love chocolate! and 2. we were rushed at Tulum because we got stuck in an hour and a half traffic jam. I think we got about a 15-minute tour and had 15 minutes to take pictures. My sister and her kids went on a different trip and were stuck in the same traffic. I wonder how the drivers/tours weren't aware ahead of time (ours was wonderful all the same).

We absolutely loved the tour given by Mario from Ekinox. He is so passionate, that everyone was fascinated by the history of the Mayas and we learned a lot. Although it is a long trip, I think it is nicely planned out with the 3 different locations and a quick car ride inbetwen (a break from the heat!) Although the ruins and the Maya community are interesting on their own, Mario made this tour unfortgettable.

The pick up at the hotel and the journey was very pleasant. The vehicle was clean, there was enough to drink and lots of information about each destination. We visited Maya village which turned out to be a commercial market. I would definitely leave that out then the tour would be worth five stars. The prices were overpriced there.
