From the top of this temple you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the amazing jungle that surrounds the site, with optional bike rental available at the site for your convenience. You will then take a 1.5-hour tour around Tulum, exploring this archaeological site. The site is one of the most impressive ceremonial centers of the area due to its seaside location, which makes it even more unique. You can learn about the Maya culture and history of this beautiful ancient city which was occupied in 1200, before admiring the beautiful Caribbean beach with its turquoise waters. You will then explore a Maya Village, with the opportunity to interact with the Mayas of this region as they share their customs and traditions. Be marveled by the life they have lived for generations, and get to know a typical Maya house and its lifestyle. You can also earn how this town has evolved with the arrival of ecotourism, and observe its current lifestyle and its economic and social growth. You will also have the opportunity to swim in a cenote here, as well as witness a traditional Maya ceremony. We really enjoyed this day trip. Tulum and Coba were very interesting places full of Mayan history. After that we visited a Cenote with crystal clear waters, it was a very refreshening stop. Later we had lunch at a Maya village. Everyone there was very friendly. Our group was small - we were 8 people - which was really good. Not only did we have the opportunity to interact with each other and learn our guide Marcus, better, but also we felt safer as we were not packed (Covid). Marcus was very flexible, he gave us time to buy some souvenirs and was always willing to show us around the natural environment of the area.
