Full description

Discover the Tulum Archaeological Site and a picturesque cenote on a guided tour from Cancún. Learn about the ancient Mayan civilization as you see what remains of buildings such as the pyramid temple of El Castillo.

Start with a pickup from your hotel in Cancún. Travel to Tulum and explore one of the last cities built by the Mayans on an express tour of the archaeological site.

See the pyramid temple of El Castillo, the Temple of the Frescoes, and Templo Dios del Viento (Temple of the God of the Winds). You can then explore on your own and take in the views of the Caribbean Sea. Then, take some free time at the beach in Tulum.

Afterward, make a quick stop at a cenote where you will be able to refresh yourself with a swim at this natural sinkhole. Finally, relax on the journey back to your hotel in Cancún.

Definitely would recommend this trip! Our tour guide Samuel was very engaging. We got split into Spanish and English speakers for the tour and we were with Tino who gave us a very informative and educational tour of the archeological site. Made very interesting. The cenotes were beautiful! They weren’t full of tourist so we got to really enjoy them. We stayed pretty on schedule throughout the day and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy each site. Definitely a must see if you are visiting Cancun! Strongly recommend this

Ruth is a wonderful tour guide. Always a funny saying ready. Our experience has shown that at 30C and the sun it is really exhausting to look at the ruins, but who likes it! Cenotes were great. Ruth takes care of everyone and keeps an eye on everyone. Due to the long journey from Cancun, the whole thing is very tedious and you can reasonably spend more time on the bus. Despite everything, it's worth it. Ps you have to keep in mind that there is an additional 15 dollar entrance fee for the cenotes.

We have really enjoyed this tour. Tulum is very beautiful and we loved the cenotes. The only bad thing is that they hardly leave time to enjoy the experience. An hour to visit the cenotes is not enough... The excursion lasts more than 5 hours, so it is better that you take food or eat in one of the stalls around Tulum. The guide makes the experience very enjoyable.
