The trip was quite good. The Barrier reef was a bit choppy.Positives ..

We were able to see "live"corral, some fish and a wonderful canote. Our guide,Pluma, was very informative.Pluma dealt with humanity's connection with nature.(The circle of life and spiritual essence of our surroundings of nature.)...i.e.-respect and co-operation with nature. Our small group was treated to a nice lunch of burritos...as well as,sharing some pamphlets on the flora and fauna of the region. All in all a worthwhile trip.

Excellent guides and great snacks and lunch!

What I appreciate most about Mexico Kan tours is their focus on sustainable tourism practices. They had us rinse off and let us know that wearing sunblock and bug repellents into the water has harmed the aquatic life (in fact, they no longer do turtle tours as sea turtles have developed tumors with increased tourism and chemicals in their environment). Everything ran on time, all equipment was ready and in good condition, and we had yummy homemade snacks and lunch. I would highly recommend this tour!

The best I did while in Mexico

By far the best tour we did in Mexico. Very local places, not crowded or touristic at all. The snorkelling was great, with plenty of different fish and our guide was there telling us where to go and look. The best part was the underground cenotes. Literally in the middle of the jungle, we got into this place where through a hole in the ground you get into the cave and its just fantastic. No lights inside (we were provided flashlights) and you walk through the cave and swim through the river to the cenote, which is beautiful. Although being not touristic or developed, we were really safe. Definitely take this tour.
