Full description

Embark on a half-day guided trip exploring ancient cenotes and enjoy the rare opportunity to swim with turtles at Akumal Beach. Enjoy round-trip hotel or meeting point transfers from Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya and Tulum.

Arrive at Akumal Beach and enjoy the opportunity to swim with wild turtles. Put on a snorkeling mask and marvel at marine life as you float above the vibrant reef. Take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch of tacos or pizza.

Know before you go

  • This tour is available for hotels from Vidanta Resort to Tulum.
  • Tour not available for the Cancun area.
  • We provide pick up service in most hotels. If your hotel does not have a pick up service, we will give you the nearest meeting point.
  • For Tulum hotels the meeting point is Hotel Andreas. Tulum does not have a hotel pick-up service. Drop off to Tulum for operational reason is in a public transportation. Our staff pay the ticket for you.

So poorly organised One text said one meeting point, the app said the another. So I was in the wrong place ( they did however come get me) When we arrived we told to strip down and go in the middle of the beach ( glad I was prepared in swimsuit under clothes and didn’t need to change out of underwear Water was given to 2 others but not myself ?? No idea why as communication was poor, but it was included in mine, but I didn’t get it. I was meant to be doing the Cenotes to, but he said I had 30 mins at the turtles ( ridiculous I know) so my options were 30 mins at turtles and go to cenotes or 3 hours at turtles and no cenotes I opted for option as it had all be so stressful so far, I just wanted to enjoy the turtles and not be worrying they wouldn’t wait for me . As it happened I made right choice as turtles was longer than 30 mins funnily enough !! A really stressful experience especially for a solo traveller
