We did the half day tour - choosing to go only to the Sian Ka'an Reserve and float down the canals. Alonzo was our fabulous guide - very friendly, helpful and we heard him speak 4 languages - maybe he knows more. The 'float' was the highlight our our week in Tulum, the water and air temperatures were perfect in the canal. We would highly recommend the tour and ask for Alonzo!
Alondra was an amazing tour guide! If I go back, I will book anything she guides. She was knowledgeable, charismatic and genuinely fun to be around. I learned so much about Mayan culture while at the ruins. The sheer ability for such architecture to still be standing and such an important part of Mexican culture can truly only be understood after seeing it. Lunch was actually at a place I had on my food bucket list and it was worth all the hype. Followed by the most beautiful boat ride to float through a once in a lifetime reserve was both perfect. Perfect for the heat and humidity, but also a way to bask in the nature after basking in the history. It was absolutely worth it. I wouldn’t have wanted any other driver or tour guide. It was one of the best parts of my trip. I’m grateful I had the experience. Thank you!

Full description
After being picked up from Tulum you will first visit TULUM ruins, then have a delicious Mexican lunch and then be transferred to the Sian Kaan Nature Reserve. Walk through this inspiring reserve and gaze out at an unblemished jungle.
Next, float and swim down through the canals between mangroves and gently make your way back out into the crystal-clear waters around the peninsula.
Experience the very best of this region. The food, the culture, the nature, and a bit of relaxation in the water make this a perfect half day trip.
When booking, you can decide to do either the full tour, or just the lazy river part.
