Full description

Head out to discover the variety of caverns and caves that fill the Mayan forest. Cenotes were considered by the ancients as portals into the underworld, allowing us entry into another realm of the earth. You will ride through a quiet forested road to explore 3 different cenotes. Explore the wonderful Grand Cenote just as it opens, avoiding the crowds of tourists, followed by a delicious brunch in the forest, located in a beautiful environment along a jungle trail.

This leads us to other cenotes where you can swim, snorkel, and jump in crystal clear sinkholes and underground rivers, while learning about the prehistoric past of the Yucatan peninsula on this great bike tour from Tulum. Surrounded by lush vegetation, you will enjoy riding a quiet jungle path surrounded by the sounds and colors of nature.

This was really great and one of the highlights of my trip to Tulum. Our guide, Maca was wonderful and navigated the group's/excursion's English/Spanish/French needs beautifully. We had a nice small group and I appreciated that we never felt rushed. I also really appreciated the early start - everyone kept asking why there wasn't a crowd in my pictures at Gran Cenote. All of the cenotes (the last one was the most crowded, but makes sense as we got there around 11:30am) were not crowded and I really got to enjoy the nature and peaceful beauty without a mob of other tourists. I bike a lot (in NYC) so I found the biking itself pretty easy (it's bumpier and dustier than I'm used to), and the terrain is mostly flat. Our guide was very attentive to our safety when we were riding on the roads with heavier traffic, but most of the trip was along "Tulum roads."

Very fun experience overall! Be prepared for the 20km bike ride but overall it was very fun and different biking around to visit all the cenotes. Cenotes visited were all very different and very nice. It is also nice because the schedule was not very strict and we were allowed sufficient time at each one to explore and swim around.

Superbe experience ! From the equipment to the quality of the food to the beauty of the actual cenotes - everything was perfect! 10/10! The tour was one of our holiday highlights. Also our guide Pablo was a super nice, chilled dude who provided us with knowledge about nature and the surroundings and answers all questions. Highly recommend!
