What People Are Saying About Tulum

Such a great experience that I would recommend to anyone!

Our tour guide was Eli who was fabulous. She was funny, spoke English, and she was patient with us Americans. All of the activities were fun and it was a great way to experience several places and things if you don't have a lot of time in Cancun. They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back off at the end of the day. The cenote was definitely my favorite part. So beautiful! Tulum was gorgeous as well. They served us lunch after visiting Tulum and it was good. Chicken, tortillas, beans, rice and a salad bar type stand with guacamole, lettuce, etc. All in all, it was a great experience and this company has this tour down. Thank you!

Great way to learn more about ancient Mayan life

The tour guide picks you up early but it's worth it. You probably get there as one of the first groups. Our tour guide gave us plenty information about the purpose and history of Tulum. Everything was organized flawlessly. Please note that you should stick to the announced schedule because it could happen that the group has to leave you behind. One more thing to be aware of: The beach might be closed due to weather and water conditions. The advertisement part was a bit too obvious. Overall good experience. Highly recommend.

Pick up was very late yet what a fantastic day!

The day didn't start well, we were informed via email we would be picked up between 7 - 8am. We were extremely disappointed when we called at 8.05 and discovered it had been changed to 8:40 and we hadn't been informed. It ended up though that the day was so fantastic we forget all about the late pick up. Rios our guide was so positive and energetic, he really helped make our day unforgettable. Swimming in underground Cenotes, zip lining above the trees, rappelling into water, a tour of Tulum and the most beautiful beach I've ever been to (even if it was very busy) helped make this a magnificent day. I only wish I could zip-line into water more often, it was incredibly fun! The only other niggle is the prices of pictures they took of you on the day, they were quite extortionate. But other than that this day really does have everything, I would recommend it thoroughly to anyone and everyone, it’s well worth doing! Just make sure you check your pick up time.

An experience I would recommend to anyone visiting the Cancun area

Our tour guides were just amazing people. Helios who took us to the Mayan ruins was very knowledgeable and did a great job telling us the history and relating it to what the tourists already knew about the area. He made an effort to learn everyone's names and this made the trip very personal. Our guide for the extreme parts(snorkeling, rappelling, zip lining) Israel was just amazing and fun to be around. The way he took care of us made you feel like he really wanted you to experience everything and just have fun. He was very careful to explain what we need to know and made sure we all understood. The activities for the tour were great and the food they provided was delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone who in the Cancun area.

Tulum Ruins and Zipline Adventure Day Tour from Cancun Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer, 06/04/2012

Tour guide superb, extremely long day, ex'lt Chichen tour, some flaws

The tour is designed to be 8 to 6. We were called late the day before and asked if we would leave at 7:30 am. We agreed. However, we did not expect to return to the hotel at 8:15 pm. A ten hour day was 12 hours 45 minutes. We spent 75 minutes simply picking up people and then were the last of 10 to be dropped off. And, we had to pay $20 for the pick-up. The guide, Patricia, is outstanding! She spoke in english, spanish and french. A testament to her skills and ability to conduct the tour but a bit annoying as we had to listen to everything in 3 languages. The tour should be in one and max 2 languages. The van was comfortable and the refreshments provided good. The tour of Chichen Itza was very good however I would have preferred our guide to give it. Having a second guide was odd and disruptive although he was good. We had 2 people on the tour who returned to the van more than 45 minutes late. There should be a rule if you are more than 10 minutes late the tour leaves. no more room....
