Take the most beautiful pictures among 1 million tulips (and 700 varieties!) in our show garden, go on a dynamic journey of discovery through the history and growing process of the tulip in our museum and pick your own bunch of tulips. Tickets always inlude a self-picked bunch of tulips from our indoor picking garden. The family business behind Tulip Experience Amsterdam has been passionately growing tulips for three generations and we love to let you experience the magic of the tulip yourself. Please note: at the Tulip Experience, we embrace our partnership with nature. This also means we have no control over the flowering season. This year, we've experienced an exceptionally early spring, causing our show garden to bloom way ahead of schedule. This means that in May, 40% of our show garden will be in bloom. Therefore, we offer a 25% discount on your tickets starting May 1st. The Museum At the museum, you will be taken on a journey through the 1000-year history of the tulip. From its discovery in Kazakhstan to becoming the famous icon of the Netherlands. You will learn all about the process of bulb cultivation throughout the years, from hand held tools to using state of the art machinery. Interactive, informative and fun! The selfie-/showgarden After exploring the museum, the Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, one million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our very own nursery. The show garden is as big as two football fields and there are several photo points for capturing the perfect picture! And there is more... Tulip Experience Amsterdam also has several art exhibitions (on tulip & spring art), a cinema, a coffee corner with Dutch delicacies (overlooking our show garden), a regional market where we sell tulip souvenirs & local products and much more.

Make your way to the bike rental shop next to Keukenhof. Meet your guide there, and skip the lines for bike rental as your guide will already be ready for you. Then, together with a small group of up to 10 people, set off on your amazing bike tour around the flower fields in the neighborhood of Keukenhof. Learn about this magnificent part of Holland and its flower culture and history from your guide. At a few of the stops, the guide will tell about growing tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils. There will be enough time to take pictures of the stunning flower fields. And because you cycle in a small group, the guide has personal attention for all guests. There will be a stop at Keukenhof Castle, a historical landmark in this area. You will visit the exterior of this romantic Castle and the estate. This castle is very important for the flower history and culture and this is a very photogenic spot During the ride, you'll visit Tulip Experience Amsterdam. Learn everything about growing tulips in the past and now, and learn about the history of the tulip in the Netherlands. In the museum there is an exhibition with all the old and new machines which are in use to grow tulips. Take beautiful pictures in the field with 1 million tulips in 700 different varieties. The most stunning tulips are waiting for you! There is also a little windmill, small houses, a swing and other props to make the most unforgettable pictures in between the tulips. Want to have a cup of coffee or tea and famous applepie from the local bakery? You can have it in the small restaurant. And don't forget to pick your own tulips to take with you! After approximately 3 hours, arrive back at the Keukenhof, where you can visit the beautiful gardens on your own (at your own cost). If you decide to visit Keukenhof, head there before or after the bike tour, depending on the departure time of your bike tour.

Stroll through the 15 kilometers of paths and 32 hectares of gardens, where millions of bulbs are planted each year!

Following pickup from your accommodation, take part in a short meet and greet with your driver before starting your journey to the Keukenhof. The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares, and attracts more then 1 million people each year with its millions of flowers. Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums. Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between the bulb fields. These boat trips are referred to as whisper trips, due to the boat's electric motors. After the Keukenhof you will go to the Tulip Experience Amsterdam. That’s 10 minutes driving from the Keukenhof. At the Tulip Experience Amsterdam you will see the history of the tulip in their museum. After that you can go into the bulb fields with more then 1 millions tulips and 700 different kinds and make some nice pictures. At the end you can pluck your own tulips. When you are done your driver returns you back to Amsterdam.

Afterwards, you will visit the Zaanse Schans, a residential area in which the 18th and 19th-centuries are brought to life. Above all, you can admire the traditional mills scattered throughout the town, each of which has its own purpose: there's a paint mill, oil mill, saw mill, spice mill, and more. You will also see a wooden shoe demonstration and can taste all different kind of dutch cheeses.

Take part in the treasure hunt through the park, climb and clamber on adventurous play equipment or glide through the air on the zip-line. The animals at the petting zoo love to cuddle. This Keukenhof flower garden tour is also fun for the children. They will have a blast with treasure hunts, a petting farm, a maze and the playground. Keukenhof is a fun day out for the whole family!  There is a possibility to store your luggage in one of the free lockers which are available near the park’s main entrance. Dogs are permitted at Keukenhof, providing that they are kept on a leash. Dogs are not permitted to enter the pavilions and restaurants, except for guide dogs. Dog waste bags are available free of charge from all ticket inspectors. After being picked up from Keukenhof in a luxury Mercedes sedan or minivan by a professional driver, travel to one of the most beautiful villages in Holland, Giethoorn. Take a lovely canal cruise through the village, known as the Dutch Venice. The elongated village is located in one of the largest areas of continuous fenland in northern Europe. The village is an excellent starting point to make a canoe trip through the area and there are a number of special museums and art galleries to discover.  After exploring Giethoorn, you are transferred back to Amsterdam.
