ATV Tour Through Box Canyon is a Memorable, Fun Experience!

Loved the half-day Box Canyon and Pinal Mountains half-day ATV tour. It was my first time driving an ATV, but it was fun and relatively easy to learn. The guide was helpful and patient. The scenery was spectacular! I went on the 8 am tour which gave me unfettered access to the trail. Most other 4-wheelers were coming in just as we were wrapping up. Go early!

The guide, Cactus Jack, was very knowledgeable about the desert, the different types of cactuses, the wildlife, what different desert plants are used for, and even had us taste a cactus. He was also very funny and overall a great guy. The ride was covered, so we were kept out of the sun, but the sides were open so that we could see everything.

This was our first time on ATV's and we all had a blast. We started off a little rocky as our 18 yo daughter was not confident driving the vehicle so our guide, Bill, locked it up to a cacti and she jumped onto the back of her Dad's ATV (problem solved)! Once we figured out the driving situation, we all had an absolutely fabulous time!

Wife and I had a wonderful time and our guide was awesome.

Glad I called just prior to arriving at the designated meeting spot to find that there were no bathroom facility or portable toilets. Turned around to go back to town to accommodate my wife’s desire to relieve herself before the tour. Portable bathroom at ATV staging area recommend.

Excellent and friendly guide who was very knowledgeable of the area. Beautiful country! They supplied everything you need for the trip (helmet, goggles, gloves, bandanas, water and snacks). The trip was the right amount of time, too. I would recommend this adventure.
