The canyon is amazingly beautiful along its entire length and surprises with the variety of landscapes. Let’s walk over the gorge on a glass bridge, admire the cascades of the “crying wall” and enjoy the panorama of the Algeti reservoir. First of all, we will go with you to Elisabethtal – a settlement founded by German colonists in 1818. They brought their culture, language and traditions with them, took up agriculture here, developed industry, maintaining their identity for many generations. You will get acquainted with their history, customs and culinary characteristics, find out who the settlement was named after and who invited the Germans here. In the second part of the program you will get acquainted with a unique canyon, known for its unusual geological formations.
