There are a lot of reindeers to feed and watch so even with a big group it's not a problem. It's cool to listen to Sami people talked about their culture and Luna's singing was lovely. Buying Sami handmade products is a gret way to support them. I brought home a nice woolen hat. They also took care of our belongings when we left it on a different bus. We had sledding on our schedule but there wasn't enough snow to sled unfortunately. But we got refunded. Nice trip and the view from camp was great!

This was definitely the highlight of my 2 week holiday in Norway! Meeting up outside the Radisson Blu in Tromso was very easy. A short drive took us to where the reindeer were. Unfortunately due to complete lack of snow the sledding element wasn’t possible but I was informed of this in advance and offered a complete or partial refund. I accepted the refund and went ahead with trip and really enjoyed it. We met genuine Sami people who were very informative about their culture. The reindeer stew was delicious and there was a great ambiance in the tents, with open fires and hot chocolate to warm us. Feeding the reindeer was a fantastic experience, with lots of photo opportunities, and a chance to speak to the reindeer herder. Thoroughly recommended.

The visit, shortened inevitably by the lack of snow was nonetheless memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. Joiking was fun, and it might have been possible to include Sami storytelling around the fire after lunch. We did suggest that in the absence of the Sled ride one of the sleds could have been 'made up' as for a ride with skins etc to show what we were missing?
