We didn’t see much of the northern lights. However, it was not without trying. Max, our guide, was very energetic and informative. This is a reputable company that has both guide and driver. Though we didn’t see much of the lights, I cannot fault the tour for this since every effort was made to give us a good experience. The northern lights were just a bit weak that night.

Our guide, Harry and our driver, Dominic were superb. They both went to amazing lengths to transport us in a challenging snowstorm to the clear skies we needed to experience the aurora. This involved a trip into Finland where we found an open (very snowy!) field with spectacular shows despite the weather. They really looked after us with the supply of thermal suits and boots and the hot drinks and the reindeer sausages were very welcome. We would 100% recommend this trip. Just brilliant!!

Search for the northern lights on this day trip from Tromsø. Journey through the microclimates surrounding Tromsø in search of clear skies. Get your picture taken with the northern lights by your guide and stay toasty with thermal suits, hot packs, a fire, and warm food and drinks. Before picking you up from the meeting place in a comfortable vehicle, your guide will carefully analyze the weather forecast in order to take you to the areas where the clearest sky is expected that night. Board the bus and relax on a drive through the wilderness. Once a proper location to observe the Aurora Borealis has been found, the bonfire begins. Enjoy piping hot drinks, reindeer or vegetarian sausages, and cookies. Thermal suits and boots are provided to make sure that you stay warm and cozy during the tour. Share in your guide's passion for photography as you take night shots of the northern lights. All pictures taken during the tour will be sent to you the next day. Bring your own camera and use your guide's tripods. Return to your hotel in the city center.

Max did a fantastic job finding a clear patch of sky for us to have a spectacular viewing of the northern lights Was a long drive to get there and back but well worth the travel
