Tour started with great explanations by the guide who provided us also with the right clothing. We then took of in a small van for max 8 people and drove to the middle of nowhere. the thermal suits provided to be so worth it as we could just lie on the grass while having minus temperatures and look at the sky. The guide was able to tell us when to expect something and we were in for a treat. We saw low, medium and high release of energy and took many great pictures. We were also provided a small snack and a hot beverage. The guide later sent us all pictures of us and the norther lights. Spectacular images and experience of a lifetime!

The tour on 1st of November was the first out of four during this holiday. After meeting we went to the office, got good information about the weather forecast, the aurora activity, a short informative video about aurora and good information about where and why we were hadding to. We were equipped with thermal clothes and you can rent tripods without extra costs. As weather conditions were not the best we drove south towards Nordkjosbotn. At a fuel station we already saw some nice northern lights. The place to mainly watch out for aurora was inland in the hills and unfortunately surrounded by some trees but I think it was still the best choice and some decent aurora showed up. It only can be a bit disturbing when all the portraits are shot with the light pollution that you wanted to avoid. Photography tour does obviously not mean for photographers. On the last stop the aurora was even better with a nicer view on mountains and we can absolutely recommend the company and the guides.
