Tromsø: Northern Lights Husky Visit with Traditional Dinner

10/10. Any dog lover MUST go on this tour. I love dogs more than most people and before going to visit the huskies I was sad looking at the pictures and they were chained. BUT, after meeting the staff, listening to their explanation that these ARE working dogs and the transparency of the facility changed my mind. These dogs are so loving. They literally melt into your arms and nuzzle you. Mistreated dogs would NOT do this. The dogs are healthy & happy. My favorite dog was Fjord (shh don’t tell the others). He literally buried his head under my neck for 5 min. These are beautiful working dogs. We also had puppy time. The dinner good. I met people from all over the world. We went outside afterwards & saw the Northern Lights. Our guide was helpful in giving us tips. They provide clothing & boots. I suggest wearing these bc the dogs are a little muddy. I didn’t mind though, just wiped my coat down. Great tour. Must do. They also have a gift shop. You can also leave a donation for the pups

This was so much fun. I went with my kid (9) and he loved it! The dogs are so nice and playful. We also saw the puppy's. The food was very good and the campfire with some Northern Lights topped it. Absolutely worth the money and time. The dogs are all well kept and happy. Very friendly staff.

They were so knowledgeable and attentive to us. We loved the dogs! The tent and dinner was so well done. We were surprised and delighted with roasting marshmallows! And a glimpse of northern lights topped off the night.
