Full description

Depart from Tromsø and set off to explore the bays, straights, and fjords of the Arctic which are rich in wildlife and history. Cruise through small fishing villages, and ancient island communities on the outside of Kvaløya or ‘whale island’. We make a stop at a modern fish farm for an authentic experience.

Watch as the crew deploys an underwater drone to explore the enchanting kelp forest and its marine life. Purchase drinks and a warm lunch on board, to enjoy while taking in the magnificent panoramic views.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, which started from right outside my hotel. A good trip around the nearby shoreline on a glass smooth day, taking in sights and historical features and some social history all enhanced by some on screen presentations and descriptions by our guides. From inside there were great views, warmth and refreshments. Outside, even clearer views and a feeling of being in nature, thanks to the near silence of the passage.
