Really nice, peaceful dinner cruise, with very interesting and informative talk by Josephine about the lights, the history, and the surrounding area. Food was good too. A tapas style starter (4 or 5 different items), a main, and pud. They're very used to dinner service being interrupted by everyone dashing outside to see the northern lights (they make an announcement), and take it all in their stride.. It was lovely to see the Tromso coastline, and watch how the houses lessen as you move further away from central Tromso. The joining instructions from Get Your Guide left a bit to be desired, we were waiting outside the restaurant as per the GYG ticket. The further email explained in more detail where to meet but we'd already been hanging around in the cold for quite a while before we took a chance that one of the boats which was loading up with people was our boat. You should change the meeting instructions on the original booking/ticket.

Excellent fjord cruise in opulent comfort on a serene electric catamaran. Great service, lovely food and drinks. Only thing that let it down was the weather, but the captain found a dark location where some clouds cleared and stars were viewed. Alas, no aurora. But highly recommended trip. Would do it again!

This was our first time on a hybrid boat. What a difference when a diesel engine isn't constantly chugging away in the background! It's a lovely boat, very good facilities and very friendly crew. The 3 course meal was excellent, fresh and tasty. For some the portions may be slightly small, but quality over quantity suits me! We were very lucky to see the Northern Lights, despite a poor forecast.
