Get an honest assessment of the likelihood of spotting the lights from your guide for that evening. To get stunning views of the sky, head for areas with good solar activity and clear skies.

We did this tour on March 11th. It was a cloudy day and at the beginning of the tour it was hard to see anything. However, Vinny didn't give up and did a great job of finding a place with clear skies where you could not only see the stars but also the beautiful northern lights. He also gave advice on how to take good pictures and took some great pictures that he shared with us. On the way back we made an extra stop even though it was late and after the official tour time and we were rewarded with very intense and dancing northern lights, which don’t happen that often. It was truly amazing and we would recommend this tour 100%.
