We landed in a snow blizzard in Tromso. The sky was full of cloud but our guide was determined we would see the lights. He ended up driving to Finland for us to see them. It was an amazing night and we couldn’t ask for a better guide. He was simply amazing.

The best choice for your aurora chasing experience! Small group and a local norwegian passionate guide. He explained everything very clearly, thought us how to set your camera to capture the auroras, offert some hot chocolate and warm clothes if needed and took great pictures of us with his professional camera. Despite of low KP predictions (1), we saw the most amazing northern lights. We also booked another day with him, but the weather was really bad. He first offered to change the departure time to give us a chance to see something tham finally cancelled when the snowstorm became really heavy. We appreciate that he didn't just take the money while our chances to see anything were zero. You can trust him and you will have a great experience! Don't forget to get dressed warm, especially the feet (double socks, good shoes) as you can stay a long time outside. Good to know: observed by a human eye the auroras are less colourful and intense than in the pictures, but still amazing!

Brynjar picked us up at 5.30 pm instead of 7 pm because of the bad weather forecast (snow and wind). This was neatly communicated with all participants. He tried to drive south from the bad weather, but unfortunately it has now been successful. We couldn't see the light. More than 200 km further, already close to Narvik, we have given up and, after hot chocolate and cookies, we drove back. With the bad weather that was still a challenge, but he safely dropped us back in Tromsø at 00:30.
