Full description
Depart the city at 9:00 AM and board a comfortable catamaran to explore the breathtaking fjords around Tromsø. Marvel at the scenery while your experienced sailing crew navigates where Viking longships once sailed. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the wildlife. The fjords are alive with animal activity in the wintertime with seabirds, eagles, seals, and massive fish gathering to feed and survive the challenging climate. Learn about marine life, try to catch your own fish, and when you've built up an appetite the skipper will prepare a delicious soup from the catch of the day (vegetarian options are also available). After an unforgettable experience sailing in the Arctic, return to central Tromsø around 2:00 PM.

A fantastic few hours spent on the Fjords. The skipper was a wonderful host and guide and put us at ease. Warm overalls provided by the company. During the tour you can relax on the bean bags spread across the front of the catamaran and once stationary you are encouraged to try your hand at fishing. A lunch of soup prepared by the skipper is enjoyed on the way back to the harbour (using the day’s catch as the main ingredient). Dietary considerations are all taken on board. An excellent trip and one we would whole-heartedly recommend.

The sailing tour was relaxed and chilled, just as expected. Due to the small group size, very good and individual care of the guests was guaranteed, on the ship it is almost family-like. The tour is a bit more expensive than on the larger boats, but for us it was worth the extra cost. We hardly saw any wild animals or larger fish, but the view of the snowy landscape from the water was also very nice. We were successful in fishing and the fish complemented the freshly made soup very well. All in all, we would highly recommend the tour in this form, but we also advise warm clothing, as you don't move much on deck in the cold. ship ahoy!

We had such fun on the catamaran, the skipper was very knowledgeable and took us around to many areas to find the best fishing spots. we were taught and then given the opportunity to catch Atlantic cod which was used in the fish soup for lunch. we had such fun and learnt so much about the area and wildlife!
