Tromsø Day trips

We knew before we set off the chance of seeing the lights was slim. When we got to the office we were shown the weather and northern lights forecast and it was explained that it would be difficult to see the lights that night. At this point we were offered a refund if we didn’t want to go. Everyone still opted to give it a try and after getting our snow suits/boots we set off. All the way to the Finnish border it looked unlikely we were going to succeed due to rain and snow but Andis and Mateusz persevered and after repeatedly checking the forecast we were eventually successful! A big thank you to them for continuing for us and trying so hard. They both kept it fun and entertaining when we stopped to wait for the lights at which point tea, coffee and muffins were also provided. The next day we were sent via email the photos they took of us which is a lovely extra. I liked that you could borrow a tripod for free and instructions for camera and phone set up we’re displayed in the office.
