Full description

On this comfortable cruise from Tromsø, head to Whale Island and the open sea. Listen to your guide’s commentary about the fish and whale species that thrive in waters that are filled with herring and plankton. The local partner's fast boat ensures that you'll get plenty of time on the water.

The coast of Tromsø in northern Norway is widely considered among the best areas in the region for spotting whales. You’ll be on the lookout for inquisitive humpback and killer whales swimming and feeding, and for birds such as sea eagles, gulls, guillimots, eider ducks, and cormorants.

Frame all the action through the lens of your camera. With outdoor decking and indoor seating on board the heated boat, you can enjoy an up-close experience with Norway’s native wildlife. Keep warm and refreshed with snacks and drinks.

The captain and crew were great. They have been running the tour for a really long time and It was nice to be guided by a local Tromso family who are very familiar with the whales and local surroundings. We saw too many whales to count. A magical experience from start to finish

I really enjoyed this tour! We had the chance to see some humpback whales jumping. Biscuit and hot drinks were provided (unlimited) and we have had a soup given as well. My only comments it at some points we were watching the orcas the motor of the boat was running and making noise which faded the beauty of listening the orcas

It was an incredible trip, the crew treated us very well, everyone stopped to talk to us at least for a while and tell us something about the orcas and whales (rorquales) that we saw. The boat is somewhat old as they have said here, and it does not have Wi-Fi (logical) but it is perfect for the activity to which it is going and it is very well maintained. Big enough to have space and be warm inside and fast enough to be seeing killer whales an hour and a half after starting. In our case, we were seeing orcas from 9:30 until we turned around around 1:00 p.m. We had the killer whales nearby but they were not harassed either, they swam parallel to us at about 6 meters. For our part, 100% recommended and nothing to criticize about the trip.
