It was a cloudy night in Tromsø and the chances of seeing the northern lights were slim, but we were lucky that we could still see a glimpse of the Aurora even just for a short time. This is not your very commercialized northern lights chase tour. It's quite personal (as the tour participants number is small) and you get to interact with your guide and other fellow travellers too.

Jess is very nice tour guide and best photographer. She took many beautiful pictures for me. I had best experience with Northern Lights Photography Tour. Despite of it had showed on that day however Jess tried to find the place to see Northern Light!!

The guide was very informative and ensured we saw Northern Lights. We found a spot 2 hours away from the city and had set up our campfire. We had marshmallows and also hot chocolate. After waiting for about 2 to 3 hours without any visible light activities mainly because of the thick clouds, the guide suggested we should move and find a different place. 30 minutes into the drive, the skies cleared and stars were visible. The guide quickly stopped the car by roadside took some shots using his camera and said we can get some photos around here. So we pulled in to a side road and tried our luck again. The dancing lady started to appear. Spent about 1 to 2 hours taking photos and just enjoying the lights. The only drawback I had was the van that we traveled with, lacked heated seats. Especially after spending hours under the snow. The built in heat wasn't sufficient for a group of 8 people.
