Experience the Arctic as a musher on this expedition into the cold wilderness. Riding on your own sleigh, you will be responsible for your own team of huskies. This 6 hour trip will let you enjoy the pristine beauty of the wilderness, heading out of Kvaløya island. Your tour guide and the team will be there to support you for the entire adventure. 

Upon return to the warm Lavvo Center, a traditional dinner will be served of Bidos (reindeer stew with vegetables), with a tea or coffee and a famous chocolate cake as dessert. Please mention while booking if you would prefer a vegetarian alternative. 

No former experience is needed for trip, however a good physical condition is highly recommended. The Alaskan huskies love people and are very friendly but love to run so it is important you control them throughout the day. Many creatures roam in the region this tour explores so keep your eyes open for Arctic foxes, moose, reindeer, hares and eagles.
