Sesimbra: Arrábida Dolphin Watching Boat Tour with Biologist

Sesimbra: Arrábida Dolphin Watching Boat Tour with Biologist

Our whale and dolphin watching boat tours take place in Arrabida Natural Park in Sesimbra, a hidden gem just 35 minutes from Lisbon. They are educational, fun, exciting and of course safe and suitable for all ages. Our team is dedicated to providing the right information about the marine life of the park and what needs to be done to protect this pristine ecosystem. We are really passionate about what we do and our mission is to make you feel connected to the ocean. We always look for all the wildlife we can find, not just whales and dolphins. In our trips is also possible to find many species of birds, sharks, sunfish, tuna or swordfish. This marine protected area surprises us every day! There's also the possibility of seeing much more, perhaps mystical caves and crystal clear wild beaches. Come and discover with us!

Setúbal: Dolphin-Watching Boat Tour

Setúbal: Dolphin-Watching Boat Tour

Explore the Arrabida coast on a cruise from Setúbal. Watch dolphins play in their natural habitat, sail by the Troia Peninsula, and marvel at the turquoise water. Depart from Setúbal and head out into the waters of Sado river passing by Albarquel beach, the Comenda palace and the Outão lighthouse that marks the entry into the clear waters of the ocean. Then be amazed by the unique view of the beaches of Figueirinha, Galapos, Coelhos, Creiro and Portinho da Arrábida where you can take a dip in their turquoise blue waters where you can take a refreshing swim (only in Summer). Continuing our trip we will visit Alpertuche beach and the Arrábida cliffs with their small caves. We will also visit the small islands in the Sado mouth. However, so much beauty cannot make us forget the main objective of our trip: watching dolphins in their natural habitat. Our skipper will change the order of this itinerary depending on this great objective, making it possible to sail out to sea in search of these friendly wild animals. As you approach the dolphins, watch as they playfully swim alongside the boat and smile at their antics before returning to Setúbal. We will observe bottlenose dolphins, which have a colony in the Sado river, or common dolphins normally found in the open sea. Dolphins are wild animals and are not always found in the same place. Our company can find them on around 99% of boat trips. If you find yourself in the remaining 1%, you will be entitled to a free voucher to repeat the experience. Our skippers are highly qualified people in navigation and maritime safety. Our company is also a navigation school. Your safety is a priority for us. The boat is virtually unsinkable and is equipped with state-of-the-art life rafts as well as radio communications. It is an open boat that allows you to see dolphins from a very short distance. It is also a very fast boat as dolphins are very fast animals. In winter, be equipped for the cold even if it seems hot on land. The temperature at sea can drop a lot and the trip can be humid due to the spray. Are you ready for this marine adventure? Feel the power of wild nature, the silence of the ocean and appreciate its magic! Children will love the dolphins. It's a memorable experience.

Herdade Canal Caveira Winery Visit with TOP5 Wines & Tapas

Herdade Canal Caveira Winery Visit with TOP5 Wines & Tapas

It is on the Alentejo coast, at the confluence of two great Portuguese wine-growing regions, Setúbal and the Alentejo, that we find Herdade Canal Caveira. Cradled by the foothills of the Grândola Mountains, the estate receives the maritime influence of the Alentejo Coast, land of a unique and original microclimate. It has an area of 45 hectares, 25 of which are vineyards and the rest are olive trees, orange trees, cork oaks, holm oaks, arbutus and pine trees. By the road IC1, before the stop for the famous "Cozido à Portuguesa", stands the emblematic house in the shape of a castle, greeting those who travel to the Algarve. The vineyards stretching out in the sun, break between the lap of the stream, and the side of the road. The winery brings us the proof. In a virtuous reality, the view from the top floor divides itself widely between the village, the mountains and the plain, while the tinkling of the glasses stirs the smell and the taste of the nectars produced here. With mostly sandy soils, wide temperature range and Atlantic influence, Herdade Canal Caveira produces elegant, complex and persistent wines. A perfect terroir for quality wines and demanding connoisseurs. This is the reality we invite you to get to know. You will take part in a guided, commented and documented tour of the estate, where a historical background of the estate, the region and a detailed explanation of the winemaking process used to produce Herdade Canal Caveira wines will be given. After the guided tour, it will be time to gather your basket of regional products and set off to discover the perfect spot in the middle of the vineyard to spread out your towel and enjoy a typical Alentejo picnic, composed by cheeses, sausages, olive oil, bread, fruit and cookies, among others. A bottle of Herdade Canal Caveira wine will accompany the meal. We invite you to come and visit us.

Algarve to Lisbon up to 3 stops

Algarve to Lisbon up to 3 stops

To start the trip, we will pick you up at your hotel located in Algarve (Faro, Albufeira, Lagos). Take the opportunity to relax and travel comfortably with one of our drivers in a comfortable vehicle. Depending on the option purchased (With stops or without stops), discover some of the beauties we have in Portugal. Some suggestions for stops: Setúbal, Alcácer do Sal, Grândola and"Quinta da Tôr". Setúbal was inhabited in ancient times by the Phoenicians, and by the Romans who settled on the south bank of the River Sado (in Tróia, opposite the present town), who called it Cetobriga, from which the name Setúbal is derived. Álcacer do Sal - There has been human settlement in the area for more than 40,000 years; archaeological investigations have placed human presence here back to the Mesolithic Period, when the first peoples began to concentrate in the areas around Alcácer. Qaşr Abī Dānis or Al Qaşr (English: The Castle), surmounting the town, was a Moorish citadel before the Reconquista. Grândola is a town (vila) and municipality in Setúbal District in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 14,826, in an area of 825.94 km2. Quinta da Tôr - These properties belonged to the same family from 1500 until 2011, when they were renovated by the new owner family with strong origins and roots in Aldeia da Tôr. Driven by passion and pride in their Land, they did not want to ignore the qualities of the land. Thus, the vineyard was revived and a new winery was built. The micro climate, low temperatures in winter and high temperatures in summer allow for a good and balanced maturation of the 7 grape varieties that this land has to offer (Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aragonês, Siria, Arinto and Chardonnay). You can plan your trip on the day with the driver. If you want a different city, get in touch with us so we can tell you if it is possible. End the trip by being dropped off at your hotel in the Lisbon. Get ready to enjoy the capital of Portugal.

It was such a nice experience. Everything was organized very professional. The staff was super friendly and the horses were well trained and clam, so great for me as a beginner. Recommend this to everyone. A nice excursion to be out of the city for a day. Thank you! Really enjoyed it.

At first we were scared of the boat (not a catamaran) but to eventually spot dolphins this was the best choice of boat, close to the water, fast and agile. The guide was super enthusiastic and could tell a lot. After 45 minutes we already saw dolphins

The trip across the sea in the dinghy was exciting, even though the Delphi didn't show up for long. We had underestimated how wet and cold it could be. An additional reference to this in the description would have been good.

That was an absolutely wonderful experience. Great to do with children. Super friendly skipper and guide. We saw lots of dolphins and got off the boat completely satisfied and fulfilled.

Wonderful time exploring the clear waters of the marine park. The scooters are so much fun. Rosa was such a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic guide! Great experience all around 😎
