Such an amazing experience! I was searching for the best whale watching tour in Trincomalee and found this combo tour with snorkeling at Navy Island and I’m so glad I booked it. The trip started early with tea at the dive center, and then we went out to spot whales and dolphins. We were lucky to see a blue whale and lots of dolphins swimming beside the boat! It was peaceful, not overcrowded, and felt very respectful to the animals. After a short break with fresh fruit, we went snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters around Navy Island. The coral reefs were beautiful and full of tropical fish. The guide stayed close the whole time and made it really easy, even for beginners like me. They also sent me free GoPro photos and underwater videos, which was such a great surprise. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a Trincomalee marine tour with snorkeling and whale watching. Worth every rupee!
These guys really know what they are doing! Unlike some of the boats we saw the captain didn't cut across the whales or dolphins, so minimising hassle to them. We saw a load of dolphins and at least four whales. The spotter was on it and kept us out after the other boats left, which was when we saw the best whale surfacing. The snorkelling tour was guided, which we didn't expect and he took us over perfectly clear sea looking down at beautiful coral and we even spotted a Hawksbill turtle. I had a camera and the guide dove down and fit us some excellent footgae. Couldn't recommend these guys enough, especially after watching some of the other boats.
