As there are busses to the right and left (not straight in front) of the square, it would be helpful to know which side the bus leaves from. Also if the name written on the bus is given when you book, it will make it easier to find. The tour is a good way to get an overview if you have limited time.

We did this Trieste Bus Tour on the first day of our 3 day stay in Trieste. It was an excellent introduction to this beautiful city. The bus moved at a good pace; not too quickly and not too slowly. The audio was instructive. The staff was polite and helpful. We had two lovely stops at Miramare and San Giusto. RB

The bus tour started as planned at 10 a.m. on the beach, where we were greeted nicely by two ladies. The information from the audio guide was interesting and helpful to better understand the history of Trieste. The bus also tried to stop a little in front of sights or to drive a little slower in order to be able to take photos. The price of the tour was also okay (€13, booked online), although it was offered on site for only €11. The bus is only quite small, so it might be a bit risky to book it locally. It was also a pity that the tour did not last 1.5 hours as stated, but only about 1 hour. Nevertheless, overall a recommendable tour if you want to experience Trieste in quick succession.
