Full description

Explore the spooky side of New Orleans on a 2-hour tour of the city and one of its most haunted cemeteries. Listen to chilling tales from your local guide and learn about the darker parts of the city's history.

Begin your tour in the heart of the French Quarter. Meet your guide and board the bus to head to the tour's first location. Along the way learn some fascinating New Orleans Voodoo history.

Arrive at the first stop, an above-ground cemetery. Learn about some of its most notorious residents including those who still walk among us today. Next, follow your guide to a burial ground containing 1000s of spirits who met their unfortunate fate in a tragic event. Finish off the tour by stopping at a haunted mansion, the Coven House from "American Horror Story".

Here you will have the opportunity to take a picture before going back to the French Quarter.

This tour was my absolute favorite part of my trip to New Orleans. Jeff was an amazing tour guide and as a “history buff” myself I really enjoyed learning about the local history and culture of the city from a local native with a background and experience in mortuary services. I loved the respect and pride that Jeff showed for his city and the dead when giving the tour. I left with a sense of appreciation for the locations that I got to see and for all I learned. I really admired the credit that Jeff gave to Black women and other women of color, such as Emily Chase of Dooky Chase restaurants and Marie Laveau’s voodoo legacy, in regards to shaping parts New Orleans history and culture. I took several notes on my phone, because I became inspired to research what I learned and I want to delve more deeply into it upon my return home. I would absolutely recommend this tour to a friend. It was an incredible experience.

We loved our haunted tour! We have taken one before in NOLA, but we really enjoyed the bus tour and being able to see the cemeteries and take pictures while capturing many orbs in them. We were also introduced to Morning Call, on our short break during the tour, which had fabulous beignets and is open 24/7. We loved our tour guide and bus driver, and we had a great time!

This tour was great and DJ was amazing. You get to see things a little of the beaten path, though you learn a lot of New Orleans history and culture. DJ is incredibly informative and funny, and he goes the extra mile to accommodate any questions. Great job, DJ and Bruce (our driver)!
