Full description
Start by trying a staple of Roman cuisine, pizza bianca. Sold in Roman bakeries, or "forni", these olive oil flat breads are stuffed with prosciutto and parmesan. Containing no sauce or cheese, a piece of pizza bianca is crispy and chewy culinary heaven.  Next up is street food which in Rome should not be disregarded. Some of the most delicious cuisine in Rome includes quick and casual street fare. From newer additions like deconstructed pizza sandwiches, to crispy and fluffy fried cod, Rome street food must be experienced. Stop at a local spot and see why it's such a beloved part of Roman cuisine. Following this, it will be time for dinner at a local Roman restaurant. An evening food tour in Rome isn’t complete without a stop for an authentic Roman dinner. Here you will sit down and relax in a friendly local restaurant, sampling two popular Roman pastas plus a meat dish. Wash it down with delicious wine, all included, relax, and soak up some more Roman culture over dinner. Finish your meal with a delicious limoncello. Your tour will be capped off with a visit to the best  Organic Gelato in Rome. If you've been to Italy, regardless of the time of year, you'll know how important it is to end each evening with an authentic gelato. It's a staple food for Italians, and you will learn the secret behind how to spot a good gelato from one with additives.

We really enjoyed the experience. Our guide's love of history really showed. You do have to stand except for dinner.
