Segesta and Selinunte full day tour from Trapani

Vincenzo is a very competent, friendly, and professional driver. My wife and I really enjoyed his company and had a good day. However we found the advertising for this activity ambiguous. The price €200 per person was crossed out and "€170 per person" was written in larger red text. However €400 was taken from our credit card. When we emailed the provider to enquire, we got this response: "Surely that price is if there are more people, obviously the rate goes down." Interesting. The words "guided tour" definitely appeared in the itinerary. Ours was not a "guided tour" of either the Segesta or Selinunte archaeological sites. It was a driver service with a few photocopied pages provided about one of the sites. Vincenzo advised us on the process and timeframe then waited with the car. Ticketing and paying extra for onsite transport, (a 'must', due to time restrictions) ate into time and budget. Paid to visit 3 Selinunte sites but available time meant we could visit only 2. Buyer beware.

An excellent day. We had a wonderful time; it was our only option for visiting these fantastic Greek sites since the public transportation in Trapani is virtually non existent. But in all, it was worth the cost. Vincenzo was a wonderful person and we throughly enjoyed sharing the day with him
