We stop at the most important sights to see including the 3 famous Towers, the Fort des Dames, the clock tower and the oldest working town hall in France – La Rochelle’s beautiful Hotel De Ville. But this is not just a history tour, we also talk about modern day culture in France and give lots of tips on the best things to do and see while you are here, especially for non-french speakers. And of course because we are in France, the home of gastronomy, we talk a lot about food and drink and concentrate a lot on the specialities of the region to try while you are here and if we are lucky, we might even get a taste of the famous Pineau De Charentes while we are on the tour! Our guide, John, was a mine of information which he shared with us all in a very informative but relaxing way. Top class! He handled all iur questions with ease and even dished out sweets to those who solved his riddles. We were even treated to an od hoc pineau sampling. All in all a great experience with a very knowledgeable, friendly guide. Take a bow, John👏
