What people are saying about Tower of London

Overall rating

4.6 / 5

based on 4,362 reviews

I was very glad to have spent the money on this tour. The experience was definitely worth it overall, particularly due to the great stories and historical points of interest explained to us by our guide, who was a wealth of knowledge and funny to boot. The only negative was beyond the guide’s control — one family brought two very young (2-3yrs) children with them on the tour who screamed when unhappy (quite often on a historical tour) and threw their rubbish all over the place at a World Heritage Site. I would recommend putting a strong recommendation in the information for this tour that customers do not bring children younger than 8 years old.

arrive early and do the crown jewels first before the line ups get crazy. Kudos to Tower of London for installing the moving side walk to view the jewels, this way it ensures that you can see them and be stuck at the back of the crowd. Overall a great experience and definitely a must see.

Terrific tour. We queued briefly before entering the Tower and seeing the Crown Jewels and the white tower and the bloody tower. Plan to stay an hour or two beyond the end of the tour because there’s even more to see on your own. :)

Very good tour especially to get your bearings on the city. Hits all the main historical attractions, our guide Thora was passionate and insightful, Great way to start trip in London

Great experience and a fantastic day out with the family
