The Yoemen at the tower were extremely good and the information they gave us was excellent. The Tower is incredibly well kept and was very clean. The toilet facilities were clean. Overall a great time and we'll worth the money.
Pretty empty in January. Some cafés were closed though. Easy to show QR code to get in, lots of maps to find your way around. Turn left down to old moat for the free tours, a 45 minute informative history lesson with wit by Yeoman Warders. Most buildings have stairs, some spiral. Can be hard on the knees for some. Excellent displays of armour and armoury, interactive displays, models, etc. and seating dotted around. Audio tours available and lots of languages on information boards. Crown jewels display is easy to view, with slow conveyor belt for close up. Spent nearly 7 hours as it was quiet and probably still missed some things. Food not too expensive - London prices really. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Excellent for all ages, if you can cope with the stairs.
