It was the evening tour and it exceeded our expectations. Johnny is the absolute best tour guide me and my husband have ever had. Not only was he informative he was funny his 40 plus years of touring experience shows and it is so appreciated the stops along the way where nice we enjoyed each stop and appreciated time to shop. The scenic route was breathtaking. I would change only one thing stop at one of the wine vineyards along the way. The day was packed full of fun and the hornblower cruise was fun. Make sure you pack rain gear because you will get wet. I was prepared and the view of the falls is picturesque. To end the evening with a full buffet dinner and a view made this a perfect day trip. From Chicago and Missouri we highly recommend zoom tours and don’t forget ask for a tour with Johnny!

This is such a good value for money and such a long day out. We thought the drive would be boring but our guide told us facts along the way. We stopped at a couple of beautiful places on the way to take photos, a river that’s connected to the falls, an old fashioned town where you can buy hand made items and food, a teeny tiny chapel. We weren’t expecting those stops so it was amazing and also toilet breaks. The tour guide was very organised and made sure we knew what time and where to be back. Then the falls was just amazing, so many great locations to take photos and a little visitor centre for food, souvenirs and bathrooms. There is a huge strip of restaurants, arcades and fun stuff to do near the falls and the Sheraton hotel buffet is a must, the view from the top is great of the falls and it has a little balcony. Then we stayed till just after 10 for fireworks and all the pretty lights, our driver even offered to drop people at their downtown hotels and made sure we were safe.

Overall it was a great experience. It would have been better to start a little earlier and have more time at certain points of interest as it did seem a little rushed including at Niagara Falls. We had about 15mins take a photo at the top of the falls, then rushed to get on the boat, then off to dinner. It would have been nice to have a leisurely walk around and maybe even have time to look around town. The food and the views at Sofitel was excellent and so we didn’t move away from there until the fireworks were over, then it was time to head to the bus to return. Our driver Ali was lively and fun, but I did feel nervous with his driving as even at great speeds, going over tall bridges he was pointing things out with his hands and talking excitedly non-stop and I would have been happier with less commentary and safer driving with both hands on the wheel!! Even on the way back, he stopped talking but was driving so fast we had to hold on to the seat when driving around a bend!
