Full description

Leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo behind and head out to Hakone's peaceful nature by bus. See Mount Fuji's serene presence from a boat cruise across Lake Ashi's calm waters. Enjoy a higher perspective from your cable car ride on the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Valley.

Depart by bus from Tokyo to see the scenic landscape and areas of Hakone near Mount Fuji. Once there, board the ornately decorated pirate ship for a cruise on Lake Ashi, formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago.

From your boat, gaze out at the surrounding greenery and the idyllic views of Mount Fuji looming in the background. Enjoy the contrast of colors from the leaves and shrubs depending on which season you're in. Then, see the landscape from another perspective on a cable car ride on the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Valley - the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone around 3,000 years ago. Take in the sweeping panoramic views of Hakone from above. Learn more about the region's nature and traditions from your guide throughout your day. If you're feeling adventurous, try the local delicacy, Kuro Tamago, a black boiled egg, which, according to local legend, will extend your life for seven years.

We were very lucky to be able to see Mount Fuji since according to statistics it can only be seen 80 days a year. The guide was super good in his explanations and comments. I believe that in the advertising of the tour it is necessary to warn that you should wear mountain clothing (hat, gloves, scarf and a good jacket) to withstand the strong gusts that occur in the viewpoint. A visit to the mall seems unnecessary.

An indelible impression was made by Mount Fuji and everything that was connected with it, a walk along the lake, a funicular on this sunny day it was clearly visible from everywhere and from all angles it looked majestic. On the volcano, they tried local delicacies that are offered to tourists and, well-fed and satisfied, went shopping in Gotemba, the shopaholic has where to hang himself, time flew by. The tour left a very pleasant impression, despite the fact that we spoke different languages with our guide, we did not get lost and enjoyed the splendor of Fuji.

We didn’t get to see much of amount Fuji due to cloudy weather but managed to catch a glimpse of it only towards the end of trip. The guide we had, Sheila, was wonderful and most helpful. She understand the excitement we had seeing Fuji while heading back and made special arrangement for driver to ‘pull over’ for short 2 mins photo taking. Throughout the trip, she tries her best to give due attention to each family and is always pleasant and polite. I have given her 5* rating for guide service. Though we didn’t get to see much of Fuji, it was ‘made up’ by the wonderful guide we had!
