What people are saying about Tongariro Alpine Crossing

Overall rating

4.7
(116 reviews)

Extraordinary landscape and logistics of the hike (signs, toilets, etc.). For people who do not speak fluent English, a small booklet in English or even better in several languages would facilitate the understanding of the oral explanations given on the bus.

We had the best trip with this company. The parking was easy and it was a short ride to the start of the crossing. The driver knew the area well and gave us lots of tips too!

The meeting point was clear, the transport worked well, the hike was super beautiful, the ascent is quite strenuous, the descent is hard on the joints.

quite expensive. Although I finished well before, I find it a shame that the last bus is at 3pm, because it adds a little stress

Great tour on a beautiful day. I'll do it again one day.
