Hugo was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited. The monuments were astounding, both in their craftsmanship and historical significance. Although the Alcobaça Monastery went on strike without notice and we couldn’t go inside, this was no fault of Hugo. He still shared the beautiful story behind the monastery and even took us on a detour to a lively coastal town, where we had a lovely walk along the beach. The van was very comfortable. It was a long day (around 11 hours), but surprisingly, we didn’t feel tired at all. That’s all thanks to Hugo. The pacing was perfect, and he was incredibly attentive throughout. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Hugo as your guide. Even though tipping is optional, we had such a great time we made sure to give a tip at the end. He went above and beyond for us and made this the most memorable trip we’ve had in Portugal so far.

Guide , Hugo , was very personable, with an excellent grasp of nationalhistory, great communication skills ,easy going and never in a rush. His approach was very unique in that he put his customer interests and comfort first. It was a super interesting and enjoyable trip. It is quite hard to find such a well-poised, articulate and intelligent guide- thank you. We highly recommend him to anyone who really wants to learn about this country and its culture and political policies and systems. I asked a million questions and he answered them all with depth and clarity. I am an academic so I was interested in many things. If you do not want the detail he can provide a clear and brief overview also. Lunch place was great too and he is a good driver ! Thank you Hugo !

It was a fantastic trip. Our guide Hugo was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Everything was very well organized and we had enough time to visit these 4 wonderful places. Pick up at your accommodation was also very comfortable. Definitely an experience that must be highly recommended. Thank you for Hugo for this incredible day tour.

Was a great tour - it was well paced, extremely comfortable and our guide Fabio had a lot of knowledge and insight on the historical sites that we viewed throughout the day. Definitely would recommend!
