This trip was truly fantastic. By far, one of the best tours we have ever taken. Ricardo was extremely knowledgable and passionate about Tomar, the Knights Templar, the Knights of Christ and the unbelievable sites we visited. He brought the past to life as if we were truly there. Even lunch was fabulous with a medieval flair. We were picked up exactly on time and the day was flawless. We were so impressed that we booked another trip with him on the spot. This is far more than just a 5 star experience.

Vasco our guide was informative and interesting. Answered all questions and showed interest I his group as well as providing interesting details about the KT. Lunch was very good and will have to recommend this stop as well. It was quite funny that Vasco unlocked the doors of one of the castles. That showed a trusted guide even to the locals. Wish mother nature would have been more agreeable for pictures, but in no way deter from an interesting tour.

Joanna, our guide, was very knowledgeable. She knew her history and also lors of interesting facts about Portugal in general or more related to the tour. The tour bring you to beautiful places and landscape while learning the importance of the Templars for Portugal. If you like history or would like to know more about the influences of the Templars on Portugal, i would recommend this trip without a doubt. Thank you Joanna for this lovely day :)

Highly recommend this tour with Cooltours Lisbon company . There are very few tours offered to visit Convent of Christ in Tomar . It is very beautiful UNESCO Heritage site . Tour guide , Ricardo, gave us a lot history facts about Knights of Templar , also was our guide through all day . He Had great suggestion for group lunch as well . It was only 4 people group and van transportation with pick up and drop off near my hotel .

Very enjoyable tour. Our guide (Vasco) was very accommodating and knowledgeable. All the logistics were well executed - confirmation by WhatsApp the day before, pick-up on time, lunch arrangements, etc. I would happily book with Cooltour Lisbon again. Very professional! WiFi in the van also worked well.
