The staff was amazing. I had downloaded tickets from another event and they went to great measures to help me download the app and find the appropriate tickets ( this seemed to be the rule in Japan where staff are exceptionally helpful). I believe that this is a must see for first time travelers to Tokyo since it really gives you a perspective of just how big Tokyo really is. We purchased both platforms but the view is less obstructed from the lower level so I would pass on the combo ticket. I would recommend this in the daytime and Shibuya Sky at night as two things one must do.

This is a great option to skip the long line to purchase tickets. The line moves fast, but arrive 10-15 minutes to make your scheduled time for the activity. We arrived 30 minutes early and were all the way up to the tower 15 minutes before our scheduled time.

everything went great with the tickets and redeeming the voucher, but I would have skipped this and dedicated more time to something else had I known how much time is wasted on this attraction. it is beautiful to see the view, but getting there, then standing in line for entrance then for the elevator up first floor then the next one then down twice, wow, exhausting experience for 30 minutes viewing. many more things to do for 3 hours in tokyo
