One of the Best Experiences of My Life – Authentic, Powerful, and Unforgettable. I was drawn in by the promise it wasn’t a “tourist trap,” and it far exceeded my expectations. From traditional clothing to real swords and bamboo mats, everything felt authentic. It wasn’t a show—it was hands-on, real samurai training. I genuinely learned the fundamentals of swordsmanship. The instructor was a true master—knowledgeable, inspiring, professional. He spoke perfect English and struck a rare balance: patient, yet firm and honest. No sugarcoating, just meaningful, empowering guidance. The organization was flawless, and the 90-minute trip from Tokyo was absolutely worth it. Fair warning: samurai and sword movies will never look the same once you know how it’s really done. You gain huge respect for the discipline and skill behind it. Highly recommended for anyone interested in martial arts, Japanese culture, or unique, immersive experiences. Thank you Sumida san!

My friend and I had a wonderful time during the samurai training in Japan. Our instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about the samurai tradition. We learned not only the basic sword techniques but also the philosophy and discipline behind the art. It was both fun and inspiring. This is definitely an experience I would love to do again in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese culture or martial arts. Thank you for this unforgettable memory. Yoshioki Sumida-san, thank you sincerely for your kindness and guidance.
