Wonderful Experience . I am grateful to have done this while on my travels . Welcoming environment , educational, and leaving with a sense of history is peak ! I highly recommend visiting this temple in this sacred space Namaste 🧘🏽♀️ - Arigato
The guide was courteous and accommodating, and the group was warmly received by the monk, who was happy to answer questions at the end of the session. I just wish it was a longer experience. He beautifully recited a mantra towards the end. I left feeling calm, and relaxed, walking quietly in the sunlight. It was my second last day in Japan, but it was the first time I’d felt completely content and unhurried. I would highly recommend this, as a break from a busy itinerary. I wouldn’t plan any other activities on the same day, so the experience is allowed to sit within you and slowly perculate, leaving remnants of calmness and centredness that you can go back to when needed.
