Watching a sumo morning practice is ine of the very few traditional and unique things you can do in tokyo. We saw probably the best stable practicing and the level was so good that we saw live in front of us one of the top 3 sumos ever. We were sitting just in front of them. the guide told us everything about the rules before entering and the spirituals we saw after the practice. The lunch was nothing important but it was a great opportunity to speak about what we saw and understand how sumo is working.
Kenji and his assistant were knowledgable and helpful the whole way through. The history of Sumo was very interesting and they knew so much about the Stable, how it came to be, the training and experiences of the wrestlers themselves. Well worth it. Thank you for a great morning.
