Amazing to see the wrestlers practising and how they push their athleticism at such a close vicinity. Small tour group also helped with intimacy of experience as had uninterrupted view. The hour of sitting past quickly surprisingly after initial discomfort of 5min in hard floor. Highly recommended, for adults and children (our 7yr was fascinated and able to last nearly the hour of sitting still and being silent)

We’ve been informed about the meeting place a week before, so there was plenty of time to check how to get there and plan everything. You need to be in a place on time to be able to get inside the stable before training begins. Watching each part of the training of every fighter is really informative in terms of the sumo fight techniques. If you easily get interested in sports nuances you will have awesome time. Please consider that training can last up to 2h and during that time you need to sit quitely, not talk and not making noises. You need sit with your feet not directed to training area which for many people can be huge discomfort. You also should not lean on the walls etc. I saw people who were leaving before the end of the trainig and a lady who fell asleep (!) and each behaviour like that was received very negatively by the „coach” who were guarding the peace of the players. But I guess that for some people it can be challenging to sit still for 2h, early in the morning.

We loved watching the session. It lasted over 2 hours and was well managed. We would have enjoyed maybe seeing one contest and also perhaps a little explanation about the history and routines although we totallynindersyand thatbthis was a live session and not a performance. We would recommend it fully.
