Tokyo: Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko Tour with Ropeway and Cruise

Embark on this one day trip from Tokyo and explore the Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko areas. Ascend to Mt. Fuji 5th Station, ride a sightseeing boat on Lake Kawaguchi, and ride the Fuji Panoramic Ropeway for stunning views of the lake and surrounding area.

Departing from Tokyo, start your day at Mt. Fuji 5th Station and take in one of the most iconic views of Japan. We will drive up to the middle point of Mt. Fuji at 2,305 meters, the highest point accessible by car, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Fuji from above the clouds.

We'll make a stop at Fuji Q Highland around lunch time, where you can enjoy either a buffet style lunch or something lighter depending on the option selected.

At Kawaguchiko, your tour guide will hand you your tickets for the ropeway, cable car, and sightseeing cruise, giving you the freedom to explore the area on your own.

Head to the Panoromic Ropeway cable car! The cable car is connected to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,075 meters - you can reach the top in just 3 minutes! From the observation deck, in addition to overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, you also enjoy a superb view of Mount Fuji and the Southern Japanese Alps.

Set sail from Appare Pier and cruise under the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge to swing by Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five Lakes.

After your day full of sightseeing and nature, enjoy a comfortable ride back to Tokyo.

**If the 5th Station is unreachable due to road closures or safety reasons, we will pivot to Oshino Hakkai, an idyllic town with great views of Mt. Fuji and eight lakes formed from Fuji's pristine spring water.
