The lake's intricate shoreline offers numerous vantage points to admire Mt. Fuji, and on a calm day, you can capture its stunning reflection in the lake's waters. Afterward, ascend the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway for breathtaking views along the way. From the observation deck at 1075 meters, enjoy unparalleled panoramic vistas of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Next, wander through Oshino Hakkai, nestled between Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi in the Yamanashi Prefecture. I recently went on a 1-day trip to Mount Fuji, Kawaguchi Lake, and Oshino Hakkai, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide, Kousei, was fantastic—super nice and friendly, making the whole day enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and stories about each destination, which added so much depth to the trip. The view of Mount Fuji was breathtaking, especially from Kawaguchi Lake, where the reflection of the mountain on the water was simply stunning. Oshino Hakkai, with its crystal-clear ponds and traditional village atmosphere, felt like stepping into a different time. Overall, the tour was well-organized, and Kousei’s warm personality made it even better. I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Tokyo!

We had a very pleasant excursion to Mount Fuji, and we were lucky enough to see it from several locations. The tour itinerary changed because we were running late, and they added a lunch stop, probably so it wouldn’t get too late. The pace was quite fast at certain points, which could cause stress or make someone feel rushed. But overall, the experience was very good in our case, except for the quick lunch stop, since we weren't expecting it and we tend to eat more slowly. We probably wouldn't have opted for the lunch option if we had known, as it would have been easier for us to have a sandwich than a Japanese meal. But well, we're Spanish, and we tend to linger over meals, which is why I mention it.
