The trip was absolutely great and definitely a must see if you visit Tokyo. If you think that the first spot will give you awesome pictures - wait for it! With every station, the views get even more amazing and you gonna need a lot of space on your camera or phone because you will be taking a lot of pictures. Our guide was very nice with a great sense of humour. The village where you can drink water from Mt. Fuji is very nice and you have enough time to explore, eat and enjoy the view!

Full description

Experience the most famous sightseeing spots around Mount Fuji. Learn about Japanese history and culture while soaking in the dramatic views around Mount Fuji. Depart from Tokyo by bus and arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you can capture beautiful photos with lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Continue to Arakura Sengen Park, located halfway up Mount Arakura in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. Take in the panoramic views of the city with Mount Fuji in the background and admire the cherry blossoms in Spring. After that will be Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area. You can see the 8 different lakes located there and taste the water from Mount Fuji. The last spot you will go to 5th Station (half way) of Mount Fuji, which is 2300m high. You can enjoy some special food or buy unique souvenirs here, with very close view of top of Mount Fuji. In winter, we will go to 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station or Yamanakako Hananomiyako park to see the diamond fuji sunset view instead.

  • If the road to Mt. Fuji 5th Station is closed due to unexpected weather or traffic conditions, the itinerary may be changed to Mt. Fuji 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station/Lake Yamanakako Hana, no Miyako Park
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Arrival time may be delayed by 2 to 3 hours due to road conditions
  • Heavy congestion is highly possible due to the large crowd during the flower season and weekends
  • Visibility is dependent on weather conditions; panoramic views of Mt. Fuji are not guaranteed
  • The itinerary, tour, and attractions may change and cancel due to traffic, weather, and force majeure
  • You will be informed by at least 2 PM the day before if the tour is canceled
  • Please note that the tour leader will simply accompany your group throughout the day
